This year, in the run up to Christmas, we’re launching a special countdown calendar – 12 Days of Christmas – and we’d love you to get involved.
The calendar spans 12 days and contains a selection of essential items that we include in our emergency food parcels.
Winter is our busiest time of year and we know that lots of people will turn to our foodbank for help. For many, the coming months will be a particularly tough period as they struggle to cover the cost of energy bills, food and other essentials, on top of trying to find a little bit of happiness and hope over Christmas.
We rely on community support to provide emergency food parcels, but food donations are down and our stocks are running low. That’s why we’re urging everyone across our South Liverpool community to get involved – companies, schools, churches, individuals – and donate an item each day to help boost our food supplies for people in crisis this winter.
It’s so easy to donate and you can choose when to start, but the sooner we receive your donations the more likely they’ll reach people in need before Christmas.
Thank you for your generosity. Together we can make a difference.
