Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are  vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

The  items we are short of are listed to the right of this message.

We often need to purchase additional food so that we can continue to give a balanced food parcel to our users. If you would like to donate food but can’t drop it off, perhaps you would consider donating funds instead to help us buy specific items? We are linked with an organisation called Bankuet, which supports food purchasing – every pound donated to our account at Bankuet delivers more than £1 of food to us. http://www.bankuet.co.uk/southliverpool 

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations, or if you have a large donation please get in touch – it may be simpler to drop it off at our warehouse in Hunts Cross.

Please note:- Tesco and Asda Permanent Collection Points are intended for donations purchased in-store. If you bring items bought from a different shop to a Tesco or Asda store for donation, please seal them in a plastic bag and mark them clearly as having come from elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks or similar organisations (for example summer holiday lunch clubs) to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
