Annual Statistics

2nd May 2017

South Liverpool Foodbank has seen an increase in use from those in food poverty from April 2016 to March 2017.

4076 people received emergency food supplies of which 1766 were children. In addition to food, we also gave out fresh fruit, chocolate & sweets, loo roll, sanitary products, toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, shaving foam, razors, soap, conditioner, etc.), sun cream, after sun and other extras as we receive them plus seasonal items such as Easter eggs and Selection boxes.

Local businesses, schools, faith groups, community organisations and the public have donated over 33 tonnes of food.

Thank you to the over 120 volunteers who handed out 3 day emergency food supplies, participated in supermarket collections, sorted and dated donations, managed deliveries to our centres, organised our warehouse stock and more.
