About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. Our founders came across one of the earliest Trussell Trust foodbanks whilst on holiday in Bude in 2008. As the economic crisis deepened over the following months, it became more and more evident that there was a real need for practical help in South Liverpool……and so within the year we became one of the first Trussell Trust foodbanks in the North-West.
Since then we have fed more than 16,500 people.
